Summer shopping fever at Polus
Few assignments delight us more than those for a bold and striking campaign. That’s when we can unleash our imagination and design it the way we always want to – ‘fresh and stylish’.
This was the assignment from our client, Polus City Center. Our task was to come up with an imaginative campaign that would stand out. What we were expected to communicate was that Polus would reward every shopping trip with a spend of more than €50 with a gift voucher for another €10.
How did we proceed? Just as we always do – we looked thoughtfully out of the window at the outside world, being scorched by tropical heat at the time. And suddenly it all became clear!
We named the campaign Summer Shopping Fever and chose a visual style that suits this idea perfectly. It is striking and summery, colourful and pop-arty. The visuals are full of elements which naturally belong to summer, radiating both heat and relaxation, both shopping fever and a summer holiday.
The truth is that whatever you need in the summer, you will find it at the Summer Shopping Fever offer at Polus.
Of course, we also used the same visuals in communication through other channels. The radio spot and floor stickers in the shopping centre worked with the same ‘fever’ theme. Summer Shopping Fever also had its presence in the online environment in the form of Facebook content and advertising. A competition to win attractive prizes was available on Instagram throughout the summer. To join, people only had to post a photo from Polus with the #letnahorucka (summer fever) hashtag.
And the result? We ourselves noticed our campaign immediately, even among a flood of other billboards. And that’s not because we created it. :) We are glad that we have been able to do striking and stylish campaigns with Polus and are already looking forward to the autumn one!
